What you can expect to get from this course:

An online course to make a mini sampler blanket. In the 10 weeks we will make 8 different patterned squares, join them and edge them:

• Week 1: C2C
• Week 2: Diagonal Granny
• Week 3: TR2tog Clusters
• Week 4: Firework
• Week 5: Snowflake
• Week 6: 3D Flower
• Week 7: Bobbles
• Week 8: Whirl
• Week 9: Joining
• Week 10: Edging

This is an intermediate course, if you can confidently crochet a Granny Square, you can do this!
* You will be invited to a Whatapp group where you can chat to the other people on the course, if you wish to. We can share our photos and inspire each other along.

* Every week at a set time you will be sent a link to a video, these are not public videos and must not be shared. You can watch the video in your own time and complete the crochet at any point during the week.

* You will also be sent a PDF version of the pattern to go along side the video, again, this is for you only and must not be shared. You can download this to your own computer or phone to keep forever. It can be printed off too if you prefer to use it that way.

* I will be on hand to answer any questions you may have, I might not always be able to reply straight away but I will get back to you.

* You will need to commit to a little homework if you want to complete your blanket – 6 small squares a week.

* The price quoted of £40.00 is for a group glass, if you would prefer private lessons I can do this on a one-to-one basis, at your own pace, for £60.00.

* You will need:

2 x 100g balls Stylecraft Special DK in colour A
2 x 100g balls Stylecraft Special DK in colour B
1 x 100g ball Stylecraft Special DK in a joining / edging colour
4.5mm crochet hook
yarn sewing in needle

Amazing course

Step up

Completed this course after completing Sooz’ Learn to Crochet Course. It’s definitely a step up in ability but Sooz makes it easy to master the new stitches and techniques. The group is supportive and a fantasy place to share tips and advice with great feedback from Sooz to ensure you get the most out of the experience. Mini sampler blanket

I loved this course because every square was very different so it felt like you were learning such a lot as you progressed through it. Each square had a very clear demonstration from Sue on how they were worked. I found one or two a bit tricky but I love a challenge and when you finally get it right the sense of achievement is great. My blanket is now with my Mum who is in a care home with Alzheimer’s, she loves it. Brilliant follow-on course

This is a great second step course, with interesting new techniques to take away. Sooz provides detailed videos and written instructions plus week by week support and feedback.
